RIYADH, Saudi Arabia, Oct. 5, 2026 - The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD) has honored Sadara Chemical Company with a Gold Award in the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Awards, marking a third consecutive year of national recognition for the company’s contributions to sustainability and community development.
His Excellency Eng. Ahmed bin Sulaiman AlRajhi, Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, presented the award to Jamal Binzagr, Sadara's Director of Corporate Affairs and Communications during a ceremony held in Riyadh. The ceremony brought together ministers, decision-makers, experts, senior executives from the public and private sectors, and representatives of organizations involved in sustainability and CSR.
The award recognizes Sadara’s continued efforts to embed CSR within its institutional approach and translate that commitment into high-impact initiatives and programs that support community development and quality of life. It also reflects the company’s commitment to governance, environmental sustainability and effective partnerships that contribute to the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 for a vibrant society and a thriving economy.
This achievement highlights Sadara’s approach to integrating CSR into its strategy and operations, while strengthening its role as an active partner in sustainable development. Through an integrated portfolio of community initiatives, the company continues to deliver meaningful and lasting benefits to a broad range of beneficiaries.
The latest recognition builds on Sadara’s previous achievements in the award program. In the inaugural 2024 edition, Sadara received two Gold Awards, becoming the first company in Saudi Arabia’s industrial sector to achieve this distinction, in addition to receiving an award for Best Practices. In 2025, the company received the Gold Award in the Best Practices category.
Commenting on the achievement, Binzagr, said: “We are grateful to receive the Gold Corporate Social Responsibility Award for the third consecutive year. This renewed recognition from the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development demonstrates that corporate social responsibility at Sadara is not limited to individual programs or seasonal initiatives. It is a well-established strategic approach embedded in our corporate culture. The true value of this continued achievement lies in our ability to translate our commitment into sustainable impact that supports our communities and responds to their aspirations. This recognition reflects the strength of the relationship between Sadara and its local communities, which we consider essential partners in our success. We will continue moving forward with determination and ambition to create meaningful added value, support the Kingdom’s comprehensive development priorities and contribute to the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.”
