RIYADH, Oct. 21, 2025 — Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Ahmad bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, Sadara Chemical Company (Sadara) has been honored with the Gold Award for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for the second consecutive year, recognizing its outstanding performance in the Best Practices category during the award’s second edition for 2025.
The award, received by Sadara’s Chief Executive Officer, Fayez Alsharef, reflects the company’s continued commitment to advancing social responsibility through sustainable practices, impactful community initiatives, and development programs that contribute meaningfully to sustainable development and an enhanced quality of life. It also underscores Sadara’s leadership in governance, community development, and environmental stewardship, in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030 and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs).
Receiving the Gold Award for the second consecutive year - following its inaugural win in 2024 - reaffirms Sadara’s ongoing pursuit of excellence and highlights the Ministry’s continued recognition of the company’s pioneering approach to embedding corporate social responsibility across its operations.
Commenting on the achievement, Jamal Binzagr, Director of Corporate Communications at Sadara, expressed his pride in this milestone, emphasizing that the award is the result of strong teamwork and effective collaboration between Sadara and its local community. He noted that the company’s initiatives have evolved into sustainable, long-term programs that actively support national development priorities and advance sustainability objectives across the Kingdom.
Over the years, Sadara has received numerous prestigious awards in recognition of its leadership in sustainability, social responsibility, and corporate excellence. Among the most notable is the Excellence in Responsible Care Award from the Gulf Petrochemical and Chemicals Association (GPCA) in the Community Awareness category, further reinforcing Sadara’s commitment to best-in-class operational, governance, and community engagement practices.
