EMPLOYEE STORIES

Dr. Ziad Ramadan

Principal Chemometrician

Dr. Ziad Ramadan currently serves as Principal Chemometrician at Sadara. Specializing in chemometrics and machine learning, Ramadan brings over 20 years of expertise with a strong background in data science, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling across analytical and bioinformatics disciplines. Skilled in MATLAB, R, and Python, he has developed several in-house software tools for online monitoring of sample analysis, process data, and quality control. Ramadan applies innovation in his daily work, creating applications that link data from Sadara's manufacturing plants to the Central Analytical Laboratory. He holds a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry with a focus on machine learning from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia.

Samia Al-Ghamdi

IT Analyst

"I always say: 'It's not the technology itself; it's the experience you create with it. "So says IT analyst Samia Al-Ghamdi, who plays a variety of roles in her current position. She is the automation focal point for her business line, Business & Services, as well as a business process automation developer and a communication analyst.
