Toward A Sustainable Future
OUR COMMITMENT
At Sadara, we know that sustainability is no longer an optional addition; it is a necessity. Sadara’s sustainability commitment is an integral part of our corporate framework. The Sadara team firmly believes that adhering to a sustainability-based framework enables us to address emerging challenges while adopting innovative solutions.
Sadara developed its sustainability framework to guide our efforts moving forward, and this framework has been fully integrated into the company’s management system.

SUSTAINABILITY POLICY

Sadara emphasizes strong environmental governance and holds ISO 14001, ISO 50001, and RC 14001 certifications. Our Sustainability Policy ensures regulatory compliance, optimizes resource use, and helps reduce GHG emissions. We also conduct regular internal assessments and third-party audits to support accountability and continuous improvement.

Ethics and Compliance

At Sadara, we are committed to creating value for our shareholders. We believe in the potential of our company to drive positive changes in the Kingdom’s chemical industry — through the products we deliver and the opportunities we create. However, our mission can only succeed when we remain equally focused on “how” we achieve our goals, not just on the “results” of our collective efforts.

Our Core Principles and Ethics

Fundamental principles such as integrity, respect, equality and environmental protection form the foundation of our corporate culture and are reflected in Sadara’s Code of Ethics & Business Conduct. This code, along with mechanisms for company employees and external parties, to report potential violations, guides our behavior both inside and outside the workplace.

Sustainability strategy

The transformations shaping our country, the region and the world directly influence our business. Sadara’s sustainability strategy strengthens our commitment, supports effective decision-making, and enhances planning, project management, and performance measurement. It serves as a roadmap to build shareholder trust, deliver stakeholder value, and increase profits sustainably and ethically, supported by a clear medium- to long-term vision. Sadara’s five-year sustainability strategy consists of five pillars, 10 strategic goals, and 24 key performance indicators (KPIs). These were established by Sadara’s Sustainability Council, with each pillar overseen by an assigned committee.

HUMAN RIGHTS MANAGEMENT

Sadara respects internationally recognized human rights standards for equal opportunity and adequate working conditions. Our Human Rights Policy extends to the supply chain, aligning with relevant local laws, national standards and Saudi Vision 2030. We train all our employees on their rights and obligations with accessibility to relevant materials and a grievance mechanism, ensuring compliance and promoting human rights awareness.

Sadara’s Employee Relations Unit (ERU) serves corrective actions and provides counselling sessions and guidance where employees are found in violation of company procedures or policies

RISK MANAGEMENT
Enterprise Risk Management

Sadara's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) unit ensures responsible and sustainable operations through compliance and high operational standards. ERM facilitates the identification and assessment of risks that could ultimately have an impact on Sadara’s sustainable operations. It proactively identifies and analyzes risks across multiple areas such as safety, security, health, environment, operations, finance, strategy, reputation, and business continuity. Collaborating closely with senior management, the unit continually monitors the internal and external environment so that we can minimize risk exposure across several focus areas.

Sadara’s Enterprise Risk matrix provides a comprehensive and detailed analysis of the risks and threats that the company may face, enabling the development of mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.

RISK MANAGEMENT
Business Continuity Management

Sadara's Business Continuity Management (BCM) process involves prevention, crisis management and recovery to address potential threats. It provides a systematic approach that focuses on recovery efforts for key business areas after unplanned disruption, safeguarding stakeholders, assets, and reputation while improving organizational resilience.

The BCM, approved by the Sadara Management Committee (MC), and led by the CEO, ensures optimal preparedness to sustain critical functions, work processes, products, and deliverables in the event of an emergency. It is aligned with Saudi Aramco's Business Continuity Management Lifecycle, following the Plan-Do-Check-Act improvement cycle. The BCM program is fully implemented at Sadara with business continuity now included in Sadara's Corporate Management System Review (MSR).
