ETHICS AND COMPLIANCE
At Sadara, we are passionate about creating value for our shareholders. We believe in the potential of our company to bring positive change to the Kingdom’s chemical industry — from the products we produce to the jobs and opportunities we create. However, our mission cannot be accomplished unless we are equally focused on “how” we accomplish it, as well as on the “results” of our collective efforts.
Our Core Principles and Ethics
Fundamental principles such as Integrity, Respect, Equality and Environmental Protection are goals of our corporate culture and are reflected in Sadara’s Code of Ethics & Business Conduct. This Code, along with the ability for employees and external parties to report potential violations, guides our behavior both within and outside the workplace.

Protection
All Sadara contracts shall include a clause referencing Sadara’s ambition to instill a culture of anti-bribery and ‘no kickbacks’ in its workplace, and a zero tolerance for such illegal practices among its own employees, its suppliers, and other third parties with whom it does business.

RETALIATION FOR REPORTING POSSIBLE VIOLATIONS

We respect those who raise concerns about suspected improper conduct. We understand that it can be a difficult and emotional decision to come forward and speak up. Sadara, therefore, has a ‘no-retaliation’ policy. We will not tolerate retaliation against anyone who reports a potential violation in good faith.

THE LAW, THE CODE AND COMPANY POLICY

Sadara has detailed policies in many areas covered by Sadara’s Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and has adopted various industry and external best practices. As a global company, we comply with the laws of many countries and jurisdictions. If a section of the Code conflicts with applicable local law, the local law takes precedence.

Sadara Suppliers’ Code of Conduct

Commitment

All suppliers, manufacturers, contractors, subcontractors who wish to establish a business relationship with Sadara are required to understand and comply with the Sadara Suppliers’ Code of Conduct, as well as sign the required acknowledgement form.

Sustainability

Sadara endeavors to prioritize sustainability, as well as local procurement, and to support the growth of the local economy by fostering partnerships with suppliers who share its values and principles.

Affiliation

Code of Conduct

In addition to the Company Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, Sadara has the Suppliers’ Code of Conduct that specifically addresses its relationship with suppliers.
