CHEMICAL PRODUCTS
The Amines and Glycols manufactured by Sadara are known for the high quality and great value they bring to its wide base of customers. Our products are used for a large variety of applications including construction, personal care, gas treatment, de-icing, wood treatment, metal working, cleaning, industrial coolants, braking fluids, paints, and textiles.

Sadara’s team collaborates with customers to deliver reliable products while maintaining values of transparency, safety and sustainability. Chemicals produced by Sadara are primarily classified in two major groups as Ethylene Oxide (EO) and Propylene Oxide (PO) derivatives. EO derivative products are Ethanolamines (EOA), Ethyleneamines (EAE) & Butyl Glycol Ethers (BGE). PO derivative products are Polyols and Propylene Glycol (PG).

Sadara is among the top six producers of Ethanolamines globally, representing 7 percent of the industrial capacity with annual global demand growth estimated at around 23- percent during the next five years. Demand is predicted to remain strong during the coming years in the cleaning/disinfection segment. There is a structural shift in the demand pattern for EOA derivatives in the cleaning products segment, mainly for the Monoethanolamine (MEA) grades, driven by consumer concern for hygiene during pandemic times.

POLYETHYLENE PRODUCTS
Polyethylene is the most widely used of all plastics. Sadara’s four plastic plants have world-class capacity and flexible capabilities to produce various types of polyethylene.

Sadara plants produce Linear Low-Density Polyethylene (LLDPE), High Density Polyethylene (HDPE), Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) and very low-density Polyethylene (Elastomers) which, due to advanced Solution Technologies, Sadara is producing for the first time in the Kingdom.

Our high-quality polyethylene resins offer high mechanical performance, resin processability and high optics enabling a wide range of industrial packaging applications, food packaging and many other applications used in daily life.

POLYURETHANES PRODUCTS
Our technologically advanced manufacturing plants produce a wide range of flexible and molded Polyols and Isocyanates such as Toluene Di Isocyanate (TDI), and Polymeric Methylene Diphenyl Di Isocyanato (PMDI). Polyols and Isocyanate products, manufactured by Sadara, are used to produce Polyurethane foams and are known for the excellent quality and reliability they bring to its wide base of customers. Our products are used for a large variety of flexible foam applications ranging from comfort, automotive, insulation and many other uses.

Sadara produces PMDI & TDI under the Isocyanates portfolio. PMDI production capacity represents 4% of the global capacity with annual global demand growth estimated at around 4% during the next five years. The demand for MDI is largely driven by the construction industry for thermal insulation purposes, CASE applications and also to produce rigid foams for different uses including appliances.

Tighter legislative requirements in building and construction will continue to support the future growth of TDI. TDI production capacity represents 6% of global capacity with annual global demand growth estimated at around 34% percent during the next five years. Primary applications for TDI are producing flexible foams and consumer comfort applications.
