RABAT, Morocco, Feb. 6, 2025 — Sadara Chemical Company (Sadara) has been awarded the Arab Quality Award, marking a significant milestone in recognition of its leadership and excellence in the chemical manufacturing sector.

The award was presented by the Arab Industrial Development, Standardization and Mining Organization (AIDSMO) during an official ceremony held on Thursday, Feb. 6, 2025, on the sidelines of the 60^th meeting  of the Arab Committee for Standardization in Rabat. The award was received on behalf of Sadara by Jamal Binzagr, Director of Corporate Communications,  and presented by Adel Al-Saqr, Director General of AIDSMO.

AIDSMO, a specialized organization of the League of Arab States, established the Arab Quality Award to encourage Arab companies to adopt excellence‑driven management and performance practices, strengthen quality and safety standards, and promote the efficient use of resources and energy. These efforts support the competitiveness of Arab industries in both regional and international markets.

The award is granted based on a rigorous assessment framework that covers leadership, strategic planning, human capital development, resource management, and stakeholder and partner engagement. The Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) represented the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the event, which was attended by H.E. Saad Al-Qasabi, Governor of SASO.

This recognition further strengthens Sadara’s position as a leading player in the chemical industries sector.
