JUBAIL INDUSTRIAL CITY, Saudi Arabia, April 30, 2024: Sadara Chemical Company (Sadara) has appointed Ibrahim M. Al Nitaifi to its board of directors as a non-executive member, effective March 20, 2024, the company said in a statement to Tadawul on Tuesday, April 30, 2024.
Al Nitaifi is currently the Vice President of Saudi Aramco Global Manufacturing Excellence (GME). Prior to his appointment as the GME vice president in December 2023, Al-Nitaifi, worked as the vice president of Fuels Business Management. He also served as the president and Chief Executive Officer of Saudi Aramco Mobil Refinery Company Limited (SAMREF), a joint venture between Saudi Aramco and ExxonMobil, from December 2020 to October 2022.
Al Nitaifi, a petrochemical industry leader, has served in various leadership positions in Saudi Aramco Downstream.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from King Saud University. He has also completed the Advanced Management Program at Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania.
