Ahmed Al-Sharikh was appointed Vice President (VP) of Business and Services at Sadara Chemical Company in October 2025. With over 20 years of experience in refining operations, project leadership, and corporate strategy, he brings extensive technical and managerial expertise to the role.

In his current position, Ahmed oversees Commercial, New Business Development, Supply Chain, Information Technology, Information Security, Procurement, business excellence, and local content functions. He is recognized for combining operational insight with strategic planning to drive cross-functional performance.

Ahmed joined Sadara from his most recent position as VP of Planning and Technical Services at TasHelat Marketing Company, a Saudi Aramco JV. Over his career he has held several leadership positions in affiliates affairs and JV management, directing the oversight of major partnerships including SATORP and SASREF, facilitating strategic acquisitions, and implementing best practices in governance and operational excellence.

Ahmed holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Vanderbilt University, USA (2000).
