We facilitate communication with industrial city authorities, such as the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu (RCJY) and MODON, to support land leasing or acquisition, facility development, and access to shared services.

Sadara's Local Content journey began in 2018, when we engaged with the Local Content and Government Procurement Authority (LCGPA) and adopted its National Local Content definition. In 2019, we established a dedicated unit to embed local content practices across our business strategies, operations, and decision-making processes. As a result of these efforts, Sadara became the first Aramco joint venture to have its local content baseline officially measured by LCGPA.

  • Sadara establishes a new division to develop Local Content.

  • LCGPA certifies Sadara’s local content for FY 2018 at 41.79%, making us the first Aramco JV to achieve this certification.
